Back Up and Snap This Theater | | fritz | Feb 28, 2010 | I've just left a beautiful theater in some foreign country, named "castle" in the local language ("avalon?"), which I never realized meant that, although the word is common in American theater names. I get into the car with my traveling companions, and drive out to the end of a long, straight driveway before realizing that I forgot to take a picture of it. As usual, I wish I'd taken the picture first, before we went in, but I forgot.
I have to back up a long way from the end of the driveway back to the theater. It's more difficult than usual, for some reason.
I park the car in front of the theater and walk a few paces away with my camera, which seems to be new. But I turn it on, and as usual I am having trouble with the batteries. Though they are freshly recharged, the battery light is blinking already. I think maybe I can squeeze out one more picture, but the camera folds up and turns off. | Next: Bad Clocks |
