It's All About the SnakesfritzMar 5, 2010

There's a snake I have to take care of, like it's sleeping in a bowl of water. Then we're playing a game around a table that's like a ping-pong table but square, with a big bouncy ball. There are four people playing besides myself, one of which is John from the climbing club. The game seems to be getting intense and aggressive, so I suggest a change in the way we're playing, smaller bounces and all of us working together, which seems to help.

We finish that and start walking around in my parents' front yard. It's a nice sunny day, a good day for riding motorcycles. I'm talking to someone about this - I still have my old motorcycle somewhere, and I think it still works, maybe I should bring it out.

A pickup truck is parked down on the lawn, like our old red truck, and a snake has taken residence in the back window, a super thing, long and tangled snake. A girl tries to get into the truck and I comment on what a stupid thing that is to do with that snake in there.

Then there's another snake on the ground, right by me. I'm not sure why I have to mess with it, but I can't seem to get away. It recoils and strikes toward my face, coming perilously close but not reaching me. The snake strikes again, and I remember the thought that I could just run away and then it couldn't get me. But I think I'm trying to get this white box that is right beside it, a little bigger than a shoe box. I grab the box and use it to block the snake's third strike.
