I'm looking at my fish tank, and something has gone wrong. I can't see any of the fish or any features inside, as if the front is all foggy. The only thing I can see in there is the plecostomus, and he appears to be dead at the front of the tank.

I put some sort of stick into the tank as a feeler. It seems that there is a glass barrier a couple inches from the front of the tank, and it is broken in various spots - though I can't see anything unusual in these areas, I can feel that there are large ragged holes in the glass. Apparently this breakage caused the glass to fog, and the pleco came into the front of the tank and died.
