Leaving New Zealand AgainfritzApr 19, 2010

I'm in New Zealand, but this is the day that we leave. We seem to be having breakfast and hanging out with some group that seems to me like a sort of church gathering, in a white room, with a half-dozen people scattered around the perimeter.

I get up and make a little speech, saying "thank you so much for being so hospitable; you've been very welcoming and we've had a very nice time while we've been here."

I go back to Dennis and Sharon's house, which is a regular house, nothing like their real place. Dad and mom are there, and we're packing up, and doing a complete cleaning like leaving a borrowed cabin. I have a bedroom upstairs, and my stuff is nearly packed. I don't want to finish up yet, and it seems I have some spare time because I'm more packed than everyone else. I think there's a TV show I want to watch, but first I go down to the kitchen and ask mom if she needs any help. She says not really, the kitchen is pretty much done, as she puts the last dish in the dish drainer.
