I just remember the lightning. Looking out over an iron grey sky, over many miles, as if from a mountainside. Lightning strikes here and there, single bolts in the vast sea of clouds.

(That same day, for some reason I had the idea of choosing a cover song from an old REO Speedwagon album that I hadn't heard in a long time, and don't own because I haven't been able to find it. Their best album, and I remembered it had some good songs on it. I found it on napster, and played it, and I picked one song out and worked it up. I didn't notice a correlation at the time, but on that particular day, I chose this song: Lightning.)
