Hitching a Ride | | fritz | Jul 6, 2010 | I'm hitching a ride to work with someone, a woman, in her Jeep. I climb into the passenger seat, with her son in between the two seats. Her son is about 10 or 12, rather overweight. I think the woman is Deborah, but she's different, less overweight and her face is ugly and pockmarked.
I don't know why I'm getting a ride with her, but it occurs to me that I should have brought some lunch with me, just in case I can't get out to get any.
I think we have to drop the kid off first. I'm not sure if she knows where I work, in fact I can't remember if she works with me. I feel like I should know this, so I'm embarrassed to ask her.
It seems sunny outside and rather hot, like this week is forecast. | Next: The Subaru Oil Spill |
