I'm at a beach with some people. They stop to swim, but I want to look for a better beach. Somebody comes with me, and we continue on, seaward. There are several beaches parallel to each other, apparently.

We come first to a beach that is like a river, and people are bathing and playing in it, but it is not really what we are seeking. We want waves and sand.

The next beach seems like it must be really cool, because there is a row of developed shops along the edge, like a boardwalk. I accidentally enter a jewelry shop from the rear, thinking that the door will go through to the beach. Immediately I back out, but I think that I should come back to that shop to buy some trinkets for my friends at home (*).

It's a nice beach, like Venice Beach in California. I find a place to sit on a second floor balcony, waiting for my friend who is apparently having some trouble with their dog running loose.

(*) Just yesterday I was dreaming of shopping for souvenirs to take home to my friends.
