I come into my house, and my friend Shawn is there. He seems rather settled-in, and I comment to him that it looks like he has moved in. I feel a little put off by this, as I didn't give him permission to do so.

But look, he says, and begins showing me around the house, which has been completely renovated. Walls are moved, everything is painted and decorated, and it looks really nice. I have a new bedroom, and I notice that it shares part of its space with a playroom for kids. I wonder if this is good use of space - kids aren't playing when you're sleeping, or are they?

It's as if he's trying to convince me to let him live here with all the improvements that he has made.

I come to the stairs to the basement, where he had apparently been living. I comment that I won't look down there, as it probably hasn't been improved.
