I'm in some guitar class or exercise, with several other students. Seems we've been doing this for a few weeks, and it's like a graduation. Everybody gets a chance, on the stage as if in a bar, for a performance that is our finale. I am trying to think of what song to perform, something that has interesting guitar, something that people would like to hear, hopefully something I wrote. I consider "Only Human", but I know how badly I've been fumbling the fingerwork lately.

Time runs out. Another band is taking the stage, and I haven't taken my turn yet. The instructor comes to me and says "well, you're not going to get your turn, but it's ok. Obviously you can play the guitar well."

I'm a little confused, a little relieved. I was nervous about the performance, but sort of wanted the chance to prove myself.
