I've awoken in the dark. Natasha says I'm late, I was supposed to be at work at 9, and now it's 11 o'clock. I jump up and start hurriedly getting ready, but then I realize it is completely dark outside, so how could it be nearly noon?

To figure this out, I go to the internet, on a computer which seems to be in the library at my parents', in front of the window that faces out to the road. I find an animated map of the globe, over which light and shadow sweep, accompanied by numbers indicating the time. It's the right picture, but I am looking for the "now" conditions, and I can't tell, because the image keeps moving, requiring me to watch both the clock and the map.

I find such a still picture, which reveals that it is yet the middle of the night, and I am not late, my clock is wrong. My watch confirms it.
