I'm on a hike with my dogs, and a lot of other people. On the way back, the dogs are not with me. I stop a couple times to wait for them, but then give up waiting and keep going. I keep seeing other people walking their dogs calmly on leashes (*). I come to a cabin, and I go in there to wait for them.

There are other people in the cabin, specifically a heavy girl (like Wade's ex-wife Leta) who is cooking and flirting with me, even putting her arms around me to dance when a good song comes on. I don't find her attractive, but I am a little bit turned on, and I consider whether I should sleep with her.

Then one of my dogs arrives on a leash, with someone else. I claim the dog, and she seems to be glad she found the owner, because she didn't know whose dog it was, and didn't like to have him. I apologize, and tell her I left the dog with a child, and she must have got tired of walking him. My other dog arrives shortly after with other person, and I tell him the same.

Suddenly it starts raining rocks from the sky. We're in the woods, and we run out into a field to get away from the trees, where the rocks are falling. The cabin is destroyed, and it explodes in flames, burning up everybody inside including the girl. Where we are in the field, we seem to be safely away from the rocks, but it's hard to move in the field because of something like fluffy snow, but it doesn't seem to be cold. I don't know where the dogs went, but there is at least one other person in the field with me, and we wonder whether it's the end of the world.

Suddenly we see the headlights of a four-wheel drive truck appearing over the hill, coming toward us very quickly, driving as if in a panic. I comment to the people nearby that he must be running away from something frightening, to be driving like that.

The truck stops nearby and the people inside cower with us in the field. A girl with me asks them what they are running from, and the explain "The vines! They are attacking us, trying to kill us!"

The vines are growing quickly and attacking people, like from a horror movie. It is the end of the world. There's no way out. We can wait here a while, but not for long. We're all going to die.

(*) I keep seeing people walking their dogs like this, just with a loose leash, and the dog walking calmly along by their side. My dogs never do this, they tug and wander every which way. I had that thought just today as I was driving to work.
