I'm putting on some sort of show, in front of people with a sound system and a microphone. People are seated in rows, at a slight incline, a couple dozen of them.

I have somebody do an introduction, and then I take the microphone. I'm sitting at a table, facing the audience. I had this theme, this show, that worked once before. I start telling a story, and I think I remember a second story, but I can't remember the thread that went through and connected everything together. I continue fumbling through it.

(On Sunday we had the SAC's Annual Banquet; the president and the featured presenters didn't show up, and I had to cover for them, giving impromptu introductions of the new members, and then talking through some pictures of this year's events in front of a mic.)
