Stuck in a Cave | | fritz | Apr 14, 2011 | I'm walking with Charlie by a riverside, in a run-down abandoned area. Charlie is running madly around, exploring everything at high speed. I wonder if I should put him on a leash. I see other people with their dogs without leashes, but they are walking calmly alongside their people.
I take a turn into a building and crawl through a hole in the dusty grey gravel and sand, and then round a corner in the small cave and it's a dead end. Wrong way. I have to go back out through the hole, but it seems too small. So I think I'll dig out a little of the scree and enlarge the hole, but when I do, it collapses, completely covering the exit, and I'm stuck in this cave. I start digging with my hands, but it keeps collapsing. Charlie is stuck on the other side.
(Took the dogs out for a quick walk just before bed, decided to let them run off-leash since I didn't have much time. Charlie ran all over and it was kinda stressful, since it was late so I didn't want to yell to him, and a car came and both dogs were all over and I couldn't control them) | Next: Scary Downtown Shortcut |
