I'm going backpacking with some people. It seems I'm having some trouble packing; I just can't think of what to pack. Anyway my pack is huge, though it's soft and light.

We're nearly to the trailhead when I realize that I forgot my tent. Oh well, I think, I can sleep on a pad on the ground. Except, I forgot my sleeping pad. And my sleeping bag. Dang, I don't know how that will work.

My brother Dave is driving, and before I realize it, we are back at my house to pick up the things I forgot. That was very nice of him - I didn't mean to cause so much trouble.

(Dave was over today to work on my ailing cars, while I am nursing my broken foot).
