I am with several of my family, I think my mom and some others, checking into a stately old hotel, with very high ceilings and rich wood paneling. Everyone checks into their rooms except me; for some reason, I can't check into my room.

We go to a concert, but first, through a room where people leave their things, and I leave my backpack there. Then we find seats and settle in to see the show.

For some reason I become concerned about my backpack, so I get up and go back to the room. I remove things of value, and split my pack into two, each of which looks less valuable, and sort of hide them under some things on a shelf, so they won't be conspicuous. However, when I try to get back to the show, it has already started, so they won't let me in until a break. Instead I hang around in another couple of rooms, each of which has a different show, like a dance number, to the same soundtrack as the main event. I'm excited to tell the others about it.
