Climbing Mountains and BuildingsfritzNov 8, 2011

I'm climbing with a team up Mount Saint Helens, but it's summer, there's no snow. I've never seen it like this before, and it's surprising. The terrain is all these towering structures, like buildings, but they don't seem to be manmade. I'm also surprised that I can climb the mountain, since I'm recovering from a broken foot (true to life, but in my present condition no way could I climb a mountain). We stop for a rest in a place that's like a small city of these towers, and we're almost to the top, see, it's right there...

In another scene, I'm traveling somewhere, as if on a business trip, and during a break I take a walk and and up ascending an extremely tall building, several hundred floors, where I'm looking down over the city. It's really cool, but I came up here by some inexplicable way that won't work on the way down. I won't make it down in time. I have to just jump. I think I know I'm dreaming, and that I'll wake up when I hit the ground, but I'm still scared to jump. My brother Steve shows up, and I talk to him about my predicament.

Then I seem to be painting a part of my parents' house, on the porch out by the front door. Somebody - perhaps one of the subjects - is asking me which of my past girlfriends I really loved, which ones I still love, which ones I would want back.
