I'm in school, in a wheelchair. I come into class, awkwardly, but take a place along the left side of the classroom, arranging all my things semi-circularly on the table, so I can reach everything. There are a number of snacks among my things, and somebody comments on them. I explain half-joking that I want to be ready for anything, it's a long class.

Somehow I spill one of the bags of snacks, and some hard tiny seeds (*1) roll down into a drain. They make a ton of noise, which continues when they are down below the floor. It just doesn't stop. I show the remaining ones to the teacher, explaining that they fell down the drain, and the noise should stop as soon as they've all settled.

Then I stop by my locker, thinking that luckily I am right near it, but I realize it isn't my locker. They all look the same in every building, but this is building 9 and my locker is in building 3. I notice that the lockers have actual padlocks on them, unlike the built-in locks that we had when I was in junior high and high school (*2).

(*1) I recently bought and sampled some guavas, which are very good but have tough rocky seeds.

(*2) A recent episode of 'Arrested Development' had a scene in a high school, and I noticed that the lockers had padlocks on them.
