I'm rock climbing with some friends, but their climbing rope is coily cord like on old-fashioned headphones. I notice it is hung up on some structure on the ground, and I help them out by pulling it free. But then I'm like - hey, you can't use a coily cord for climbing rope!

(in real life, a girl recently got badly injured in the club where I often climb, apparently due to a knot-tying error)
