My cat Milou - who is not black like the real-life Milou, but is some mottled light color, and with long hair like a Persian - needs some surgery. I have a friend who is helping me do it at home. I've apparently cut her stomach open and removed several organs, among them a very large round one, which need some treatment outside her body, and her stomach is gaping open and empty. She doesn't seem to mind, although I am concerned that she will die.

I need to put these organs back in, but it seems that they don't fit. I try stretching the hole to fit the round organ in, and ask my friend how I am supposed to do this. He says you just have to stuff them in. I don't understand how to do that.

I think we are distracted by something, and when I come back, Milou is eating her organs, apparently thinking they are food. They are big to fit in her mouth, but she stuffs them in and gorges them down. They just fall out of her belly, as it is wide open and there is nothing there to hold them, looking just as they did when they went in. I still have to figure out how to reinstall them.

The cat climbs into my arms and rests her belly on the sleeve of my white sweater, I think the one I got from OPB. Oh no, I think or say, don't get me all bloody, but I let her lie there anyway, and when she moves indeed the sleeve is all bloody, but I decide not to worry about it.
