Airplane Crashes, and Microsoft CleanupfritzMar 29, 2012

I'm looking down across a city, as if in southeast Portland looking toward the river. Two airplanes are flying south, and suddenly they crash. One goes off and hits the ground in the distance to the left; the other falls and slams into a tall building almost directly in front of me, but far away, near the river. That plane drops a large capsule, which from a distance looks like a tank in which you'd store some liquid, but it is carrying some passengers.

After the capsule crashes, somehow I can see into it, and I see a man who has been knocked from his feet, but gets up, and I'm surprised and glad to see he is alive. Then I move to a close-up view of the other passengers, perhaps on a news broadcast, like looking through a window into a subway train. They all look a little surprised and rattled, like they aren't sure what just happened, but none of them appear to be injured. I remember one grey-haired woman, perhaps in her 50's, with glasses, looking around wide-eyed, but calm. Everyone who is watching applauds.

Then I'm talking to my old friend Darrell, on the sidewalk. He's talking about going up to Washington next week to pick up cans and bottles, some charitable cleanup effort. I think he's going to Redland, isn't that a long way, like 3 or 4 hours' drive? Isn't that where Microsoft's corporate office is? It sounds like a long way to drive just to clean up some trash.
