I'm at a picnic, and I've apparently brought along a large live octopus. He was in a bucket or something, but now he is out and wandering around on the grass. I don't seem to be worried about him escaping, just interested that he is out of the water - apparently they can do fine like that for a while.

Somebody else at the picnic offers to get him and put him away, and I say "sure, but 'away' is a tank in my garage", apparently implying that if you put him back in the bucket, he will just escape again. My house is only a couple blocks away, in a generic suburban neighborhood.
