Delivering Teenage Salesmen | | fritz | Apr 25, 2012 | I'm in my old red truck, picking up my brother Joe and his friend, who are about 15, on their bikes in Beaverton. It's dark and raining. We talk about where I can take them; they are biking around trying to sell something, but I can't be driving them everywhere, I just need to drop them off somewhere that's already near my path home. We talk about Garden Home Road, where I'll be traveling - how about somewhere along there?
As we're loading up their bikes, I ask his friend whether they've made any money at this. He admits that no, they haven't really made much yet (my impression was that they had made a few dollars, but nothing significant), but he's hoping that they will in the near future. | Next: Nobody's Dog |
