I'm at the park, I think the one near my house. I'm playing with some technical equipment, but it has a long tri-colored tail attached to a metal ring, and it occurs to me that it would make a good kite. It's windy out, so I throw it up in the air (on the end of a string) and indeed it flies beautifully, delighting a small boy who is nearby.

As I'm flying it I start goofing around and making it do tricks and spins, but then it gets out of control and slams into something, sending random debris flying into the air.

I go to get it; it has become all tangled with another kite or some other wire.
