Dad in a Teddy Bear SuitfritzJun 10, 2012

I'm out at the farm. We're doing some recording of the girl singing, but I told them it would be difficult, they would get distracted. Minda is supposed to be singing, but she forgets where her part comes and misses it. I throw a sock or something at her to remind her, and she looks sheepishly guilty.

I pack up my things to leave. Before I go, I peek my head in my parents' room to say goodbye, because I really didn't get to see them. My mom is laying on the bed, sort of near the foot, and my dad is in a bed on the floor, in some sort of black fat suit, making him very bulbous. As he leans partway up, I notice it's sort of a teddy bear suit, with a soft black body, a white hood, and cute little teddy bear ears.

More to make conversation than anything else, I say "I'm going to take some stuff to Goodwill, have you ever done that before?", as if to get some tips on it, but even as I say it I realize that I've done it many times before, you just take the stuff and drop it off. Since it's late at night, there probably won't even be anyone there, and I'll just stick it in the drop box.

My mom appears to be still asleep, and mumbles something about a file folder that is under where dad is sleeping, obviously not connected to my question.
