I go into a restaurant, I believe following Dena and Carrie, but I don't think I see them. Then I leave, and walk down the street, smoking and reading a magazine about computers. It is raining. I want to be alone, but my AP friends John and Dave are standing in a yard, and can see me through a hedge. They make some jokes in my direction, and I parry them back.
