Neil Finn, the leader singer and songwriter of the band Crowded House, is visiting with me. At first we're out in my garage chatting, and then in the kitchen. He tells me how he regrets breaking up the band.

We're going to go out for a beer or something, so I go into my room to change my clothes. I'm thinking about what a nice guy he is, and how he could just honestly admit a big mistake, just like that. I think that somehow it helps him be a better songwriter.
