I'm in a foreign country, at a Red Castle (*). My friend's band is playing there. After the show, they have a little parade down the path from the tower, and the wheel of some vehicle kicks up about a 6" rock, which hurtles toward a crowd of onlookers ahead of them. Deborah Harris is on the edge of the crowd, with her back turned, but she sees the rock and deftly parries it off to the side of the path.

Then I go back to the bar (apparently I was there before), and I comment to the waitress that the bar is much emptier now than it was. And here, I have to return this little wastebasket. I tell her the story about the rock, but in the story the rock ends up in this wastebasket. I think I made that part up, just as a conversational connection.
