I'm at a party at someone's house. I need some water, perhaps to wash my hands, and through a partially-open door I see a free-standing metal sink in a central room, so I go in there and turn on the water.

I immediately notice the water coming out on the floor, and under further examination, I see that the plumbing isn't complete. There is a pipe coming out the bottom that looks like it is supposed to be attached to something else, and there is another free-standing fixture that looks like it should also be attached. It looks like they were stashed here to be out of the way of the party, and we weren't even supposed to come in this room. There is a boy in an adjacent room, making the bed on the top bunk; he probably left the door half-open.

Fortunately I have a laundry basket with me, and there are some towels in it, so I start to pull one out to clean up with, but the basket spills and several of my towels get wet.

I mop up the mess and then continue cleaning, sweeping the debris off some rocks that are off the side of the driveway. I am thinking how nice it is going to look, how I overcleaned everything even better than it was. But as I'm standing on the rocks, some small rodents are gathering around my feet. They are small and white like mice, but with pointy noses, and I think they might bite, so I'm trying to dodge them. And trying to remember what they are called, I think speaking aloud to them - are you voles? marmosets? no, I think a marmoset is some kind of monkey...
