A Place for Timmy, and a WheelchairfritzJun 30, 2006

I'm in Newberg, in Springbrook Plaza. Timmy is with me, and it seems I'm trying to find a place for him in the car. The car has trunks in both the front and back, so I first try the back trunk. When I open it up, my black travel bag is in there, and I am excited because maybe my lost camera is in it, but a search reveals it is not. I motion Timmy to jump in, and he does, but it's hot and uncomfortable in there, so I bring him out.

I then try the front trunk, with the same result. It doesn't seem comfortable for Timmy. So I put him in the back seat, where he seems happy.

I'm going to wheel up the hill to my parents' in a wheelchair, and I'm trying to get it arranged. The front wheels are collapsed down so that it leans forward, and I adjust them downward, while sitting in the chair, by tipping up on the back wheels. It seems the only position I can get to from there is with the wheels fully extended, so I try that, to see if it will work out. It seems high but pretty well balanced.

Then I am working on how to take Timmy along. I find the green leash in the same black bag in the trunk, which seems the ideal tool for the application. But I'll need both hands to wheel the chair, so I can't hold it. I'll have to tie it on somewhere. Will he pull the chair along? I remember that he doesn't ride well with the bike, but I think this situation might be different.
