I'm at some sort of meeting or presentation related to mountain climbing. I'm lucky to get a really nice spot with a direct view of the projector, where somebody else was sitting and they just left; it's a little dirty, but I'll take it.

Nearby are these little ponds, teeming with life, like tide pools. I'm very excited, since it's night-time now, to see these translucent nocturnal creatures that I've never seen before. I show somebody. They are like little worms, but with no color.

Back at the meeting, I am eating my lunch. I get up for just a second, only a few steps away, and when I return this girl has swooped in and cleaned it up, thinking I was done. Dammit! I rescue half of my foil-wrapped burrito or sandwich from the garbage, along with some sliced pickles in a sauce that is full of sand, but I think I can wash them off, and I'm hungry! I also had some chips, which were taken to a table of common food and everybody ate most of them, but I take the back with the few that are left.
