Attacked by Sydney and CopsfritzOct 2, 2013

I'm at an unfamiliar park in my car, on a dark and rainy night. I hear some sort of a growl in the woods nearby, and I roll down my window and seem to provoke some scary vicious animal, which rushes out and starts attacking me through the window. I'm fumbling in the dark for the lock and the window-roll button, wishing I'd paid attention to that before starting this mess.

Then I realize that it's just my dog Sydney, and she's covered in ice, like she's been left outside for a while. I realize that I left her there accidentally at some point earlier in the day, and forgot about her. I put her in the back of the car.

As I pull out of the park, my headlights show through a gap in the shrubbery and I see through to the sidewalk, by the road. A girl is sitting on a bench smoking a cigarette. I drive away, but sort of kicking myself for not talking to her, because she looked lonely and pretty.

As I drive away on a city street, red and blue flashing lights appear behind me, and I think I'm going to be pulled over. This concerns me because I am rather drunk (for no reason that is apparent), and I could be in a heap of trouble. But it turns out the cops are after someone else, and I drive past them without incident.

(When I wake up, I have a couple of odd scratches on the left of my neck, rather like dog scratches, but it seems unlikely I would have slept through Sydney scratching me. Also I was followed by a sheriff on my way home from climbing yesterday; he quickly reversed direction on Oleson Road in order to follow me, but then continued on when I turned on my street.)
