Road Blocked in No Beer HourfritzJan 13, 2014

I'm driving, as if going South on I-5 from somewhere up near Seattle. I see that ahead of me, the cars are stopped on the road, so I pull over. I can see a huge fire engulfing the freeway up ahead. Still, cars are speeding along, not noticing, and disappearing into the flames. I'm thinking that we who have pulled over should block the highway somehow, if we can figure out how to do that without causing more accidents. At least, can we flag them down, warn them or something?

I end up leaving the freeway and going into a town to spend a few hours before the road opens up again. I go into a bar to get a beer, but they tell me that you can't get beer at this hour, it's a time in the afternoon where beer is not allowed to be sold.

Then this really pretty dark-haired girl approaches me, and puts her arm through my arm, and tells me that the don't-sell-beer rule only applies to the ground floor, and there are bars up on the second floor where you can still get a beer, can she take me there? She's completely flirting with me, but I'm not sure if she likes me or it's a sales job. First, I tell her, I have to find my brother Steve, who was with me but seems to have wandered away. I run into my friend Stacey, who I am really glad to see because she has been missing for a while.

Then I let the girl lead me up the stairs to the bar where you can get beer at this hour. It's a wide open space, with everything made of wood, and there is some old bum sitting at a table smoking. The girl has disappeared.
