I'm putting some wires on some panels, as if on an Audio Precision instrument. I think somebody did some of them, and it would be nice if they were color-coded, but there aren't enough of the right colors. The cables are coiled up in plastic bags which I have to open, and most of the remaining ones are yellow. Oh well, it's not perfect.

I'm looking for one of the instruments, and it turns out to be in the sink in my parents' kitchen. My mom is using some kind of spackle to repair the wood floor in there, and she suggests doing a favor for our New Zealand friends (and I think of this idea before she says it), like making it say "Who-hoo!" every time it hears the word "Wildcats". I say that's probably not a very good idea. It would take a lot of effort, and what if it goes off when it's not supposed to.
