I'm setting up a concert at my parents' house, in the parlor. It's supposed to start in less than an hour. I have all these boxes of equipment, and I'm going through them as fast as I can, setting up what I need and setting aside what I don't.

What are we going to play? I think, Helter Skeleton material. I'm playing synths and guitar. Steve is playing bass, I believe. I ask him to put together a set list, but he doesn't seem to think he can do that. I think we can play all the songs off the CD.

The main thing I'm lacking is power plugs; they are all full. The chandelier is plugged into one; can't I plug that in somewhere else, to a power strip or something? Nothing reaches. There are a couple orange extension cords, but they are too long. There is also a short black one; I think that's about the right length.
