I'm camping with my family, out in a grassy area. I see a large lizard, which I'm thinking is a Gila Monster, lumbering along downhill. Its tail looks oddly blunt and short, with something like a wound at the premature end. I try to follow it, but for some reason I lose it in the dark.

Then I'm looking for it. I find something that might be the remaining part of its tail in the grass, and then some strange pipes and holes in the ground, which might be where the creature lives.
