Arranged Parking, and MattressesfritzMar 27, 2014

I'm driving with somebody, I think Natasha but it's not clear, and also Alona, in two cars. They're driving a pretty nice car, and I'm driving some junky van. We pull off the road into a field, as if on Bell Road near where it intersects the highway. Natasha asks a person there if we can park the cars and leave them there, and they say that's ok. Then she insists that they accept the liability for the cars while they are there, which she clarifies to be some $5000. I think it's ridiculous how she's pressuring them, and if they're going to accept that liability, she should pay them, but it's not clear to me if we are paying or not, and I elect not to get involved in the transaction.

Alona, meanwhile, has pulled a mattress and box spring partway out of the back of the van. I ask her about them, and she says we're taking them along, aren't we? I don't see how we can take them along if we're leaving the van here.

The van seems to be a Volkswagen Bug, and I notice a mouse sitting on the driver's seat, up by the headrest, chewing on things. Oh no, now I have to exterminate the mice from the car!

(Alona moved in with me recently, and we had to move her mattresses just a few days ago)
