My friend has been injured on his arm, but he says it's not a big deal. He shows me, and as he bends his arm to show me the back of the elbow, white goo squeezes out from a number of symmetrical holes in his arm. I tell him that means it's infected, and we definitely have to clean it out. I have band-aids, at least we should put those on there.

But we have a big plastic tub full of first aid gear, with large gauze pads and everything, so I put disinfectant and bandages on his wounds.

(The wound is about the same place I hurt my own elbow a couple weeks ago in the fall I took on Elk Mountain, and I doctored it up in a similar way. Mine is mostly healed now, but for some reason if I bump it in a certain way it is still painful.)
