I go out to my garage, where my brother Dave has just arrived in a large truck, like a semi. There's an argument going on between him and a security guy, some pseudo-policeman who works for the neighborhood association, who wants to give him a ticket. Apparently has he was bringing the truck in, he took the corner too close and bumped over a curb. The cop has some name for it, and I say "you mean 'curbing'?" because that's what my trucker friend called it. But then I say well, people probably call it different things, no big deal, it was an accident.

It doesn't seem fair, but the guy is only demanding $6 for the offense, so I just pay him to get him to go away.
