I'm rearranging the car for the trip home; I'm parting with my traveling companions, one of whom is Shawn. They are driving my car back, and I'm driving solo in another car. I am bringing a few things that I will need on the drive or immediately after, though I confirm with them that they will be coming directly to my house, won't they?

As we're packing, we're talking about our trip. I can't believe we stayed for that whole terrible play. It even had people barfing in it. And that girl that disappointed us. He reminds me, we had met her together a couple of years ago at somebody's party, that was the girl. I don't remember.

At some point I'm looking in a mirror. My face is a mess with acne, with a whole constellation along the jawline. I'm thinking maybe it would be a good time to date, since it is more like generalized acne and less like a few individual zits. And I can see my beard hairs in extreme close-up, like a diagram in a book, and see how each hair is damaged around the base by the razor.

Also I come back to my dogs; I forgot about them and drove away, and they are all running around. I gather them up into my car.
