Somehow my band got booked for some sort of Christian concert festival, which is to occur the next day. I see a flyer for it, and it shows in big letters "Helter Skeleton", with one of my skeleton pictures and special marks like we're a featured band! But in a Christian show? It doesn't seem like it would fit really...

I sort of want to play the show. I applied as joke, online, a month or so ago, but didn't think there was any chance they wouldn't notice the obvious mismatch. But now I'm not ready to really play the show, and I got such a good billing! Oh, they'll be so surprised!

I'm thinking maybe I could just go out on stage and do the songs on an acoustic guitar. Or, perhaps, some little box to play the accompaniment tracks, and I could sing? That would be cooler, but I have no time to prepare. I try thinking through the lyrics to one of my songs, get like 2 lines in, and I can't remember what's next.

I think I'd better just email the people and tell them that it was all a mistake and they really don't want me on their stage, even though that will mess up their schedule.
