Lost CarfritzJan 10, 2015

I've just come out from some sort of festival, with I think my mom and another of my sisters, and we are about to get into my car, but we can't find it. There are acres of parking lots, and we walk through them. I don't know where it is; I gave it to somebody to park, and I don't know where they parked it, but I didn't realize the lots were so big, and it would be so difficult to find.

We search the first lot, but then there's a downramp (it's out like on a farm, and I think there's a barn there), where there's another lot and more cars, and more and more.

There is a guys with a carts, like a golf cart, transporting people to their cars, but now we're too far out, and he isn't around. I tell my mom and sister just to wait here, I'll go back to their booth and ask them where my car is, because they probably know where they parked it.

I head back alone, still scanning every spot for my car. When I get back to the booth, the cart is just taking off in another direction, so I have to wait to ask him where my car is. Instead, I walk past and check around another corner in that lot; still, no car. I feel like I have searched everywhere.

At that point it occurs to me to push the button on my remote, and see if I can hear my car chirp. I reach in my jacket pocket for the key, expecting to be able to push the button just by feel, but the remote doesn't feel right; it doesn't have the expected buttons. I pull the remote out to look at it, and it's totally different from mine. Somebody they got switched, which is why I can't find my car - somebody else drove away with it.
