I'm on a bike ride with some people, perhaps my sisters, and it takes us down to Portland, in the area where the freeways all connect to each other down by the waterfront. We're faced with a long, hot ride up the hill toward the zoo, but I have a better idea: let's grab onto the freeway cars and let them pull us up the hill! It seems like I've tried it before, but I have some trouble convincing my companions.

The cars are slowing down near where we are on the shoulder, so that would be a good place to catch them. But I'm carrying something under my arm, some collection of small long furry objects (like pipe cleaners?), and I think that might be a problem, trying to keep them under my arm while maneuvering, so I need to find someplace else to put them before I can get going.
