I'm driving out to my parents', as if over the hill, but the weather has taken some nasty turn, and the road is full of puddles and mud. I'm thinking this would have been fine in my Subaru (that I had previously), but now I have this Highlander and it isn't so good for traction. I plunge into one of the puddles and try to just grind through the mud, but I'm not sure if I'll just get stuck.

There are also these animals in the road, of several different kinds. They are about the size of cats, sort of cowering from the weather in pairs, but it's hard to avoid them with so many other driving challenges. I run over a couple of them accidentally.

When I arrive at my parents', they tell me that I wasn't supposed to go that way, and I think oh well, I made it, so no harm done. But there are still those dead animals back there, and their bodies will be found when the weather clears.
