Family Camping and FlyingfritzMay 16, 2015

I'm camping with the family, like a Family Campout. We're at this new place we rented that is really awesome. There's a little beach on a lake and all the kids are splashing and playing in the water.

For some reason I feel sort of lonely. I think my girlfriend is there (like Tiffany) and she isn't paying any attention to me, nobody is. I decide to put on my swim suit and go for a swim, so I go back to my tent. Once I get in there, I just feel like taking a nap, so I lie down in my sleeping bag, on an air mattress. It's very comfortable, but then my nephew Simeon comes in and jumps around on the air mattress, then tells me that it's too flat and I should blow it up some more. I say that it is fine, and he wouldn't hit the ground if he didn't jump on it.

I get up and go back outside. There is a van parked nearby, which appears to be selling things, so I go over there to check it out. The van has a door in the middle of one side, with stairs so that you can go in, and to the right is a sales counter. An old man with a grey mustache is there.

I go in and look around, but all he seems to be selling is about five different types of potato chips, in small bags. I remember thinking that he can't really sell that many of them, no matter where he goes to sell them, so how could it be worth his time, and how could it pay for this van? I think it must not, he must have the van for other reasons, because the chips just couldn't pay for it.

The man is the proprietor of the park. I tell him how much we're enjoying it, and that we should have booked it for more that one night. I joke that we would like to have stayed on a bit longer, like a month.

Then I get on this barstool outside the van, and start walking on it, by tipping it and then twisting, like some party trick, but I can actually make pretty good steps. Then I jump with it, and discover I can do that pretty well too. I'm working my way across the gravel above the tents and the lake, and some people are looking at me.

Then I notice that I can just fly. Somehow by willing myself, I swoop up over the tents, and around in circles, looking down at everybody, and them looking up at me. It seems to take a lot of attention and willpower, but I can do it if I focus.

Next: Final Test
