I'm in a house on the beach, where I am apparently staying, on the second floor. I awaken to an unusually high storm tide, with the water all they way up to my floorboards. I'm talking to someone on the phone, or thinking about telling them, that I'm not even sure I'll be able to get out of the house because of the water.

I go out on the deck, just a few inches above the water, to check things out, and I can see that the stairway down to the ground is (somehow) clear, so I should be able to leave. Some other guys that are staying there have their gear out on the deck, mostly scuba equipment, as they are evacuating.
