I'm at work, where I share an office with a co-worker, who seems to be a mixture of two previous real-life co-workers Richard and Dan. He's really mad at me, at first sort of sulking, and then when questioned, goes into a tirade of all the things he doesn't like about me.

"...and you totally ruined my art gallery opening in Tennessee," he says, but I interrupt him there.

"Tennessee? Dude, you're totally losing it. I've never even been to Tennessee. I've never been to Nashville, I've never been to Memphis, I've never even been to Jacksonville(*)..."

At that point he realizes that he really is losing it, and that I wasn't there. I tell him that's ok, I forget things sometimes too. He asks me what to do about it, and I say you just gotta make lists, write things down, and check the evidence before blaming things on people.

(*) I think Jacksonville is actually in Florida.
