Robbed at 7-11fritzNov 18, 2015

I stop at night at a 7-11, like the one on Hawthorne near 47th, and park in front of the store. As I'm getting out, a guy in a leather face-mask, holding a gun, comes by and seems like he's going to hold me up, but then he walks right past me, so I sort of shrug, lock my car with the remote, and proceed toward the store.

But then, before I can reach the door of the 7-11, another guy comes around the corner, just zipping up his face-mask, which has the zipper right up the middle of his face. This guy points his gun toward me, and tells me to unlock my car. I push the remote in my pocket, the car unlocks, and he starts rummaging through the back seat. I consider dialing 911 on my phone; if I can just get the numbers dialed, even if I don't say anything, they can probably send someone over. But I decide against it; even activating my phone is going to throw some light around, and these guys could shoot me. The police probably won't come that quickly anyway.

In the back of my car, the guy finds a computer and one of my favorite guitars, and he takes them and gets away. I'm pretty upset about it, but I do call the police later and report the robbery, so my stuff might still be recovered later on.
