Fragments | | fritz | Nov 8, 2005 | There is a flood, dirty water rising rapidly, and me and some people are sort of caught in it, but we're playing, swimming. I invent some game for which we need... a see-saw, I search carefully for the word.
Steve has asked me for "Hitchhiker's Guide", says he's already looked through my books but can't find it. I say it has no cover, I have it, but I have more places to look, so I'm looking. I find "Watership Down" and am going to give that to him. I can't wait to give it to him and to tell him about the other wonderful books I have for him. I think I also consider "Crime and Punishment."
I am in my old room in the attic at the folks', which is now the painting room. It's messy and uninhabitable but I remember clearly thinking how at-home I am there, how happy I will be once I've got moved back in.
I'm meeting somebody at a pool, a pool where I'm not sure we're supposed to be, such as that of a hotel. Natasha and Alona are there, and my family. | Next: Scaring Grandma, Truck Tire and Letter from Jail |
