I'm walking home from somewhere, early in the morning, through an unfamiliar neighborhood. In the corner of my eye I see a flashing streak of grey, and looking over there, at first I see nothing, but then a pack of large grey wolves appears against the backdrop, blending very skillfully with the scenery. They are big, probably 100 lbs, and a very smooth light grey.

I'm cautious at first, but most of them seem very shy, and stay away. Then one comes very close, eyeing me carefully, interested, but not hostile. I sit down, and within a few minutes he's almost in my lap, being very affectionate as I scratch his head.

Eventually I continue, and come to a red rock wall where some people I know are climbing, and I tell them all about this really friendly wild wolf, who I think is still lurking around in the bushes somewhere, following me.
