Church Driving IncidentfritzNov 28, 2015

I'm at church, with some of my family, but before it starts I have some chore involving moving some things into a garage attached to the church.

As I'm moving, I remark to one of my sisters, "Isn't it funny how rock music is completely alien to them, and they think of all the music that we all listen to as rock music? They probably think I was the one that discovered it, and then infected all the rest of you."

Then we're done with the moving task, and rearranging a few things to fit in the garage, but I got some dirt on my jacket, so I try to dust it all off, but it's impossible because it's sort of everywhere.

Then I have to move my car, from where I was unloading it, to a proper parking spot. But as I try to nose in, the car doesn't stop. It continues moving slowly forward, running into a long beam that marks the edge of the parking lot, and then pushing it out in a large radius to the left. I can't take my foot off the accelerator to apply the brakes, and my dad, who was just beyond the boundary past the beam, has to jump to the side to avoid getting hit by it.

Finally I reach up and turn off the key, and that stops the car, but my foot is still stuck. Upon further examination (and I'm showing somebody how this happened), I can see that the floor mat got caught between the sandal I'm wearing, and my foot, so I couldn't pull my foot either way.
